HOW LONG DOES THE TRADITIONAL APPRENTICESHIP IN HOTEL MANAGEMENT TAKE?
The hotel management apprenticeship takes three years. If you have completed your school-leaving certificate or have a very good vocational school certificate and have the approval of both the company and the school, the training can be shortened by half a year.
WHERE IS THE VOCATIONAL SCHOOL LOCATED AND HOW IS ATTENDANCE REGULATED?
The Städtische Berufsschule für das Hotel-, Gaststätten- und Braugewerbe München (Vocational College for the Hotel, Restaurant and Brewing Industry) is located at Simon-Knoll-Platz 3, 81669 Munich.
The vocational school is 3 km away from the hotel and there are day or block lessons.
DO YOU COLLABORATE WITH ANY SPECIFIC HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS?
We would like to become a practice partner from October 2021 and collaborate with the Duale Hochschule in Ravensburg.

WHAT KIND OF DEGREE IS OBTAINED AFTER THE THREE YEARS?
Bachelor of Arts (B.A.). You can also take the trainer aptitude examination during the three years.
CAN ACCOMMODATION BE PROVIDED?
The hotel unfortunately does not have staff rooms or flats.
HOW CLOSE TO THE CENTRE IS THE UNSÖLD’S FACTORY HOTEL?
Hauptbahnhof: 2.6 km by foot
Maximiliansplatz: 1.5 km by foot
Englischer Garten: 400m by foot
IS THERE EMPLOYEE PARKING?
The hotel only has an underground car park reserved for its guests.
